Illuminated Channel Letters

Working closely with store owner Tracy Werner, Folio designed a new branding and environmental graphics package for the Natural Pet Market (see: Retail). The new store is located in the Wheaton Whole Foods shopping center. The Natural Pet Market is a high-end pet supply for dogs and cats selling the finest in food, toys and supplements.

Within a highly restrictive sign code, Folio designed the Natural Pet Market sign to stand out in the crowded shopping mall. The white channel letters are given a boost with a black outline around the edges of the letters. To add an extra bit of freshness, Folio painted the sides of the letters bright yellow. The sign was manufactured by All American Sign.

Folio had designed all the signs in the old Soldier Field (see: Sporting Venues). For the new Soldier Field, Folio was put to work in the parking garage – where wayfinding takes on a whole new meaning. The main entrance to the garage required a significant illuminated sign. To accomodate the rather long name "Museum Campus Entrance," Folio placed the letters on a raceway to house the electrical components and minimize drilling into the facade.
