Bruce Vogele, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts History degree, has a deep appreciation for historic buildings, especially in Chicago.

In 1994 he redesigned the entire signage program for Soldier Field. The design for the obelisk "You Are Here" directory is shown to the left. From researching the archives at the Chicago Park District, Vogele discovered copies of original plans showing a giant obelisk at the south end of the stadium. Through research he gained an understanding of the many rich architectural details in and around the stadium, such as the Gorgon Shields, and incorporated them into the signage design.

Currently Folio is designing a new signage program for the First Congregational Church of Western Springs. The church was designed in 1929 by G. Grant Elmslie, a Prairie School architect and highly regarded associate of the renowned Louis Sullivan.
